I wouldn't be complaining

That's how they've serviced EVERY rma I've done except for the RMAs related to my g73.

You should consider yourself lucky.

Yay! I was like what if they didn't want to fix my G73? Because it's from best buy or something!

Yeap, I agree chastity and frosty. Rma with Asus sometimes takes weeks and the worst part is, your system will come back with more problems. So hopefully yours would be perfect. Consider your self lucky bro. Goodluck!

do you think the massive amount of issues with the g73 is making asus corporate re-think their quality control? it seems like the RMA program is costing them a massive amount of money with this model. maybe for the future they will hire better thermal pasters or make a machine to replace them.

Or the average consumer model owners might not realize their paste is horrible and keeps using it till it gets burnt out. (or it is cause they do the same kind of pasting job for the G73 as an i3 with built-in GPU).

What I think they should do is make the future gseries laptops mire accesible like alienware does to their laptops. My new r3 would only take 30secs to open the access panel to do some configuration on your laptop, unlike the g73, it would really take time to open it up, plus you have to deal with some very sensitive parts(speaker cable). I like to see the future gseries laptops with a really easier access panel. But I know the upcoming g74 has the same access panel as the g73.. Dissapointing.

if they did that, they probably wouldnt be able to have the long warranty anymore
