My mobo or CPU failed (ASUS M2A-VM), so I decided to replace it and picked up a ASUS M4A78T-E. I didn't realize I was stepping into a completely new generation of components non-compatable with my old build.
Thus far I have compiled:
ASUS M4A78T-E
AMD Athlon II x4 630
Kingston Hyperx 4GB (2x2GB)DDR3 1600 KHX1600C9AD3K2/4G
APEVIA case
OS Win7 32 bit
Problem: I tried to use my old psu Ultra 500 XU with main power connection of 20 pins vs new mobo 24 pin connection.
Is there a way I can use this PSU or do I need a new PSU?
What are my options? Can I increase PSU at a reasonable price with good quality?
