ntldr is missing - can I just copy it from another computer?

Hi All,
I accidentally deleted my ntldr file and I don't have an installation CD of XP.

Are ntldr files identical across computers running the same OS and version?
can I just copy it from another computer running the same OS and version?

I do have Hiren's CD so it won't be an issue for me to do that.
