XPS M1730 fan problems

Hi,



I have an XPS M1730 with the following problem: sometimes the fans enter a cycle in which they turn off for 3 seconds and then on at full speed for 3 seconds. This usually goes on for a few minutes.



I know this is a BIOS problem and I read somewhere that, on the XPS M1330, an update to A12/14 would help. The M1730 however only has A11 available on the dell website and that's the one I already have.



Can I use the M1330 A12/14 version for my M1730 and if so, where can I find those BIOS ?
