Drivers & Downloads
I downloaded the driver that is specified for my computer and before the driver gets done installing is stops and says that there is no blutooth device connected. The blutooth indicator light comes on when I plug the card in. I've tried restarting after pluggin the card in and plugging the card in when the computer is off but nothing seems to work. How can I get it to work?

Are you sure it is working? Does it show up in Device Manager?

That is exactly what I'm trying to find out. I've had it plugged in and I just unplugged it watching the device manager for changes and there was no change. What are some things I can check? The part number on the card is RD530 Rev A00.

See if BIOS detects the device? It should be on like the "System Configuration" page, or a page with a similar name.

I've been trying to find the bios but I can't. The only page I can find is the System one in the control panel.

So, I checked the bios and it wasn't present. I was unaware but the company that I bought the bluetooth module from sent another one. I plugged it in, checked the bios on start up and it was present. When Windows started up, it recognized it and intalled drivers that were on my machine. In the control panel I had a new bluetooth device option. I was able to pair my phone to it but without the proper drivers, it wasn't able to do file push or anything. So, I went to the same webpage as I mentioned before and started to install the dell drivers. It went amost all the way except close to the end of install, it says to "Turn on bluetooth" use " Fn + F2". I didn't shut off bluetooth to begin with and the bluetooth indicator was lighted but no matter how many times I turn it on and off it still comes up with the same error. What could the problem be?

Did you enable Bluetooth in BIOS? Is it already enabled?

Bios says that bluetooth is installed and everything it is enabled
