XPS-15 Outlet order--Should I keep it?

New to the forum, but looking for some quick help. (I posted this in the main forum, sorry for the double post. I think this may be more appropriate)



I've been searching for a desktop replacement laptop for a while ago, and yesterday settled for a Inspiron 17R, from the Outlet, (with coupon) for a total of 570.



I was pretty happy with it, until I saw the XPS 15, with FHD, (1080p, I hope!) available! However, the coupon had expired and this new setup was to run me $840 shipped.





I ended up cancelling the Inspiron and going with the XPS, but now I'm questioning my thought pattern. Does this make sense? I don't feel like I'm getting a great deal, considering a new XPS15 would be around the same price (799), just without the 1080p.



I can still cancel my order, and start over, but wanted to hear what everyone thought? Did I make the right decision??
